Introduction
Mealio is an innovative mobile application tailored for the modern epicurean and restaurant-goer. Our mission is to streamline the dining and payment experience, making it swift, seamless, and secure.
Problems & Tasks
1. Streamlining dish order: Manual dish selection in apps is time-consuming, especially with extensive menus. The presence of waitstaff can pressure diners, leading to mistakes. Mealio's solution? QR codes on bills, allowing quick order transfers to the app, paired with table numbers for accuracy.
2. Splitting the bill: Dividing a restaurant bill among diners often leads to confusion and potential disputes. Whether it's an even split or assigning specific dishes to individuals, the process can be tedious. Manual calculations can be error-prone, especially when diners have to determine their share based on individual dish costs. Mealio seeks to simplify this with intuitive even and dish-based split methods.

The first interaction with Mealio is crucial. Our main screen and QR code scanning, accessible directly from the phone's home or camera, ensure a smooth and immediate entry into the app experience.

After dining, users need clarity and convenience. In Mealio, the cart and receipt view is designed to be straightforward, allowing diners to easily review their orders, verify costs, and proceed with confidence.
